Director Clinic Operations
Carlene oversees clinic operations at Simcoe Place as well as 1 University. She is a member of the clinic leadership team and is actively involved in recruitment,
on-going management and mentorship of all staff.
Carlene works closely with all medical practitioners to drive corporate goals and objectives, as well as with our administrative team to ensure excellence in customer service. Her previous roles have included management in the retail sector specifically startups. She was the project lead for our new location at 1 University and will be closely involved in our future locations as well.
Dr. Jack Muskat, Ph.D., is a Toronto based organizational psychologist, writer and speaker with over 25 years consulting and business experience with individuals and organizations. He advises senior executives and managers around selection and developmental planning. His clinical work focuses on issues relating to stress, anxiety and depression, as well as interpersonal issues.
Dr. Jamal Lake completed his Psy.D. (Doctorate of Psychology) in clinical psychology from the University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia) in 2011 following an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Guelph. Since completing his training and being accredited by both the Australian Psychological Society and Canadian Psychological Association, Dr. Lake has been working with adults across private practice and hospital settings. He primarily uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach but integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, interpersonal and mindfulness-based techniques into his treatment. Dr. Lake currently assesses and treats adults who present with depression, anxiety/stress, PTSD, chronic pain, ADHD, sleep difficulties and substance abuse. He uses a holistic, collaborative approach tailored to each client to help them effectively cope with their struggles, achieve their treatment goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Dr. Lake is a registered clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) and a member of the Ontario Psychological Association.
Sousan possesses 7 years of experience in the Mental Health field.Her professional experience includes assessing, treating and working collaboratively to support adult clients struggling with ADHD, Substance abuse, Depression, Stress, Anxiety, and Low self esteem.
Sousan utilizes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused and Existential Therapy interventions during clinical practice, customized to each patients individual and unique needs.
Sousan’s main focus is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for patients to explore their emotional trauma, or symptoms of PTSD while maintaining respect, sensitivity and compassion towards each individual’s experiences.
Her commitment to professional work ethics and proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds enables Sousan to support clients who may be struggling with social, personal adjustment and mental health challenges impacting their personal and professional lives.
Sousan’s training also includes suicide prevention, Motivational Interviewing and EMDR Advanced psychotherapy approach. Sousan is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Alberta and will soon be Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Corrine has been working in the psychotherapy field since 2003. She is a Candidate in the M. Ed. (Counselling Psychology) Program. She is a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists (OACCPP). Corrine has worked with individuals who have experienced painful traumatic lives, grief, and painful emotion states, including depression, anxiety, anger, shame and guilt. She has helped individuals with drug and alcohol addictions, and individuals who struggle with debilitating chronic pain. Stress, life transitions, and workplace burnout are also of professional interest to her, as well as personal growth and development. She draws from many psychotherapeutic modalities including CBT, mindfulness, emotion-focused and motivational interviewing. Her desire is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment, so that you will feel free to explore your difficult life situations and emotions. As a psychotherapist she will facilitate a process of self-exploration, insight, and change, in order to improve the quality of your life, and overcome difficult life problems.
Cimberly achieved her B.A. in Psychology at McGill University. She followed that degree by receiving her Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. Cimberly also has an MSc in Psychological Studies through the University of Glasgow. While living in the United Kingdom, Cimberly was accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). The British Psychological Society (BPS) acknowledges her MSc. Upon returning to Canada, Cimberly became a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Since October 2015, Cimberly has also been registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and practices within their ethical guidelines. While her main therapeutic technique is rooted in Person-Centred or Rogerian Therapy, Cimberly has also received certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). In addition, she is trained in Mindful Meditation and Motivational Interviewing. In concordance with the ethical requirements of practice of the CCPA and the CRPO, Cimberly continues to expand her skills and therapeutic techniques.
Meghan received a B.A. in Psychology from McGill University. She has a post graduate degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Mental Health Counselling and Behavioural Medicine. Meghan is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Meghan is an experienced clinician with a specialty and interest in mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders and trauma. She is a passionate advocate for holistic healthcare, and has experience working in all levels of mental health. Meghan has a strong background and training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Enhancement. Meghan provides a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore emotions, behavioural patterns and is rooted in evidenced based and ethical practices. Meghan’s style of therapy is collaborative, and facilitates an environment for self exploration, emotional insight and achievement of personal goals.
Rachel received her Masters in Social Work through the University of Toronto and has been working in private practice and various mental health hospitals since 2012.
She is certified in various forms of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and has training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Emotion Focused Therapy. Her interests include mood and anxiety issues, managing life transitions, substance use issues and eating disorders. She is passionate about helping individuals to find more meaning and authenticity in their everyday lives. She works with clients from a nonjudgmental stance, helping individuals to feel both safe and challenged.
Rachel is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
Dr. Tamarah Chaddah is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She completed her clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC), after completing three years at CCNM. Before she began her education in Naturopathy, Tamarah completed a four-year honors degree in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario.
Natalie graduated as a naturopathic doctor five years ago and has been practicing with a focus on mental health since the moment she got her license. She is fascinated by the complexity, the intricacy and the individuality of each person’s experience and it is truly an honour to work closely with her patients watching them find happiness and freedom.
Natalie graduated from University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science and then spent four years at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine studying to become a Naturopathic Doctor. It was during her fourth year internship that she developed a passion for mental health working under the supervision of an amazing, inspiring Naturopathic Doctor who also had a special focus working with complex psychiatric cases.
Leigh is Registered Dietitian and nutrition expert with a passion for helping individuals fuel, nourish and thrive with personalized nutrition. Her areas of specialty include sport and exercise nutrition, metabolic health (diabetes, weight management, hypertension, high cholesterol), digestive health, and healthy lifestyle planning for optimal health and wellness. As a nutrition professional, Leigh takes pride in her commitment to evidence-based practice and serving the unique needs of her clients. To become a Registered Dietitian, Leigh received a Masters of Health Science degree in Nutrition Communication from Ryerson University and is currently registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. She has worked as clinical dietitian in psychiatric care and addictions at the Centre for Addictions in Mental Health. In private practice, Leigh has provided nutrition coaching to various athletic populations including runners, weight lifters, powerlifting and crossfit athletes. Alina Rehkopf is a registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP). After earning her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Waterloo, Alina completed a four year Advanced TCM Program at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Alina uses various TCM modalities including acupuncture, cupping, tuina massage, and herbal medicines to help her patients address their health concerns and foster long term wellness. Whether you are new to TCM or not, Alina will carefully explain what to expect during your treatment and what her diagnosis means, as well as working with you to build a treatment plan that is clear and effective.

After 10 years of working as a Spa Aesthetician in Tokyo and Toronto, Kaori has moved on to extend her massage career in the field of healthcare professionals and is now a Registered Massage Therapist. Kaori has graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and gained additional training in perinatal massage from the certified Trimesters Program. Combining both her experiences and knowledge, she will offer client-focused treatment plans. As a versatile Registered Massage Therapist Kaori’s treatments can range from general stress reduction to chronic pain management. She incorporates a variety of techniques such as Swedish, myofascial, trigger point and joint mobilization in order to provide an effective yet relaxing treatment.
