Dr. Jack Muskat, Ph.D., is a Toronto based organizational psychologist, writer and speaker with over 25 years consulting and business experience with individuals and organizations. Dr. Jamal Lake completed his Psy.D. (Doctorate of Psychology) in clinical psychology from the University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia) in 2011 following an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Guelph. Since completing his training and being accredited by both the Australian Psychological Society and Canadian Psychological Association, Dr. Lake has been working with adults across private practice and hospital settings. He primarily uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach but integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, interpersonal and mindfulness-based techniques into his treatment. Dr. Lake currently assesses and treats adults who present with depression, anxiety/stress, PTSD, chronic pain, ADHD, sleep difficulties and substance abuse. He uses a holistic, collaborative approach tailored to each client to help them effectively cope with their struggles, achieve their treatment goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Sousan possesses 7 years of experience in the Mental Health field. Her professional experience includes assessing, treating and working collaboratively to support adult clients struggling with ADHD, Substance abuse, Depression, Stress, Anxiety, and Low self esteem.

Sousan utilizes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused and Existential Therapy interventions during clinical practice, customized to each patients individual and unique needs.

Sousan’s main focus is to provide a  safe and welcoming environment  for patients to explore their emotional trauma, or symptoms of PTSD while maintaining respect, sensitivity and compassion towards each individual’s experiences.

Her commitment to professional work ethics and proven ability to build rapport with clients from  diverse backgrounds enables Sousan to support clients who may be struggling with  social, personal adjustment and mental health challenges impacting their personal and professional lives.

Corrine has been working in the psychotherapy field since 2003. She is a Candidate in the M. Ed. (Counselling Psychology) Program. She is a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists (OACCPP). Corrine has worked with individuals who have experienced painful traumatic lives, grief, and painful emotion states, including depression, anxiety, anger, shame and guilt. She has helped individuals with drug and alcohol addictions, and individuals who struggle with debilitating chronic pain. Stress, life transitions, and workplace burnout are also of professional interest to her, as well as personal growth and development. She draws from many psychotherapeutic modalities including CBT, mindfulness, emotion-focused and motivational interviewing. Her desire is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment, so that you will feel free to explore your difficult life situations and emotions. Cimberly achieved her B.A. in Psychology at McGill University. She followed that degree by receiving her Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. Cimberly also has an MSc in Psychological Studies through the University of Glasgow. While living in the United Kingdom, Cimberly was accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). The British Psychological Society (BPS) acknowledges her MSc. Upon returning to Canada, Cimberly became a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Since October 2015, Cimberly has also been registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and practices within their ethical guidelines. While her main therapeutic technique is rooted in Person-Centred or Rogerian Therapy, Cimberly has also received certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). In addition, she is trained in Mindful Meditation and Motivational Interviewing. In concordance with the ethical requirements of practice of the CCPA and the CRPO, Cimberly continues to expand her skills and therapeutic techniques.

James is a skilled and experienced psychotherapist, who has been actively working in the field since 2006. James received a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from McMaster University, and a Master of Divinity (Counselling) from Tyndale Seminary.  He is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT), and a Certified Couple and Family Therapist with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).  

 

James is collaborative, authentic, easy to talk to, and client-focused; every counselling experience is unique and tailored specifically to his clients' needs. He values a creative and integrative approach to his practice which is primarily influenced by Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

Ninat Friedland received her Bachelor’s degree from York University in Toronto (2007), and her Master’s from Concordia University in Montreal (2011). Ninat is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is a part-time faculty member at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute (TATI).

Ninat has been working in the field of mental health for over ten years, in both clinical and community settings. She has worked with individuals with a variety of emotional and mental health concerns including stress, anxiety, depression and addiction. Her primary areas of interest are in women’s health (fertility, pregnancy, motherhood and sexuality) and interpersonal relationships. Ninat has specialized training in art therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. She draws on these assorted modalities to offer an individualized approach that is collaborative, person-centred, and strengths-based. Milly is a fully licensed Registered Psychotherapist and a member in good standing of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CPRO). Having nearly 10 years of experience, she has worked as a psychotherapist both nationally and internationally in countries such as Spain and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Giacomina Gucciardi is a licensed Naturopathic doctor and has been practicing in Toronto for 23 years. Following her completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Toronto, she attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Following her graduation Giacomina continued her education by training under Jane Lyttleton, one of the world’s leading experts in the Treatment of Infertility with Traditional Chinese Medicine. There she assisted patients with infertility, IVF enhancement, and pregnancy through acupuncture. Giacomina’s knowledge of acupuncture also extends to cosmetic acupuncture, which she uses in her anti-aging and aesthetics treatments.

Dr.Gucciadi’s practice focuses largely on gastrointestinal health, chronic inflammatory diseases, cardiovascular disease, women’s hormonal health and fertility.
